Annual Well Woman Exam
For our patients on a monthly hormone plan, we do offer annual well women exams as part of the plan. To our existing patients, Perspective Health offers annual exams on a cash pay basis which will include a breast exam, pelvic exam, order for annual screening(s), and pap smear (if needed). Laboratory fees will not be included in office cost.
Birth Control
If you’re sexually active and wish to avoid pregnancy, it’s important to use a reliable form of birth control. The most suitable contraception for you depends on your medical history, lifestyle, and personal preferences. Start by discussing the various birth control options with your provider, who can provide guidance on the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Hormonal birth control can also help regulate your period, addressing concerns such as heavy periods, acne, irregular periods, PMDD, or PCOS.
Vulvar Care
The vulva is the term for women’s external genital (sexual) organs which is the area from the pubic mons (the pad of tissue covered by hair) to the anus. The vulva includes the labia majora (outer lips), labia minora (inner lips), the clitoris, the urethral and vaginal openings, and the area between the vagina and the anus called the perineum. Care for yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, chronic itch, and sexually transmitted infections.
Preconception Counseling
Thinking of getting pregnant in the next six months to a year? Perspective Health offers preconception counseling which includes review of lab work, review of family and personal health history, risk factors, lifestyle and education on how best to prepare for upcoming pregnancy.
